How do I install my sign?
Your sign arrives ready to mount—no wiring required. We include all hardware and a full-size installation template to mark hole locations and letter layout. By default, all 3D non-illuminated, flat-cut, and etched signs are stud-mounted; small flat-cut sets can be tape-mounted on request.

Do I need a permit?
Often yes for exterior, permanent non-illuminated signs (wall, blade, panel, letters), but it’s city-by-city. Most jurisdictions regulate size, projection, height, location, materials, and fastening—and some require approvals in historic/design districts even for small signs. Interior plaques or lobby letters typically don’t need a permit unless they’re visible as exterior signage or trigger fire/life-safety rules.
Best practice: always check with your landlord/property manager and your city’s planning/sign permit office before fabrication. Expect to provide a photo of the façade, scaled drawings (size/placement), materials/mounting details, and a simple site plan. Temporary window vinyls and small door graphics are often exempt, but limits vary—confirm locally.
Will my sign be weather resistant?
Yes. Our non-illuminated signs (3D letters, flat-cut, etched plaques) are built with exterior-rated materials and finishes—aluminum/stainless or outdoor-grade acrylic, UV-stable paints/films, and sealed hardware—so they handle sun, rain, and temperature swings. For outdoor, long-term installs, we recommend stud mounting (mechanical fasteners + adhesive/sealant). Tape-mount is not recommended outdoors long term; it’s best for small indoor pieces or short-term use. With correct install and periodic cleaning, typical outdoor lifespans are multi-year.
How long does it take to receive my sign?
- Quote & mockup: ~24 hours after you send your logo/specs.
- Production: ~10–14 business days after approval (may vary by size/finish and queue).
- Shipping: ~3–4 business days (insured ground; rush options available).

What happens if my sign arrives damaged?
In the rare occurrence that your sign arrives damaged, rest assured that we have you covered. We take great care to ensure our products are securely packaged, but if damage does occur during shipping, we will replace any damaged sections free of charge. Simply contact us with photos of the damage, and we’ll take care of the rest. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we’re committed to ensuring you receive a perfect sign, every time.
